Welcome to another edition of late night dd,track, burn, where instead of going to sleep (like I should) I look at foreign classifieds. Tonight we have wagons:
Up first, a Toyota Crown. I think it’s a gorgeous machine.
2nd we have a Mercedes 250. Just a handsome understated wagon.
And finally repping the Aussies, a Holden Kingswood:
As usual, if burning ain’t your style you can choose to rally one instead.

Does the Benz have a third pedal? It looks like a manual but I can’t see into the driver footwell... Assuming it’s manual I’d go:
DD - Benz.
Track - Holden (We all know automatic is faster on track)
I’d rally the Toyota until it catches fire, though that might take years because it’s a Toyota.

Daily the Crown. After all, it is still a Toyota. Most maintenance it probably ever requires is a new accessory belt.
Track the Holden. That thing was meant to be on a track. And if not a racetrack, the 1/4 mile strip.
Burn the Merc. I say this with no remorse either. Never was a fan of these for some reason. They just don’t do anything for me at all.

Not sure if sarcastic, but modern automatics can be better on the track, not a 30-40 year old 3-4 speed automatic.
